Guernsey Stamps - Coastal Eclipses Stamp Design
Project overview
We were tasked by Guernsey Stamps to develop a set of postage stamps for the island of Alderney, showcasing the upcoming solar eclipse on 21 August 2017, in a very unique way.
Project details
The six stamps reveal a spread of coastal locations across the globe. Using thermochromic (heat sensitive) ink we designed a fun reveal, an un-eclipsed sun (in fluro yellow) and technical details of the solar eclipse for each location.
As you will see the project included a full suite of collateral from first day covers to rubber stamps and all the variations between.
