We have been proud to support the proposed redevelopment of the King George the Fifth playing fields into a state of the art sporting facility that will benefit the island at all sporting levels across a multitude of different sporting disciplines.
The playing fields at KGV were established in Guernsey through public subscription 75 years ago as part of a nationwide scheme in memory of King George the Fifth.
The redevelopment of the playing fields at KGV provides the opportunity of co-locating the headquarters of the Guernsey Cricket Board, the Guernsey Football Association, the Guernsey Rugby Association and the overarching agency for all sport in the island the Guernsey Sports Commission.
