Modernising the typography for this A5 booklet went a long way to maintaining current design relevancy, whilst ensuring the style feels timeless and historic.
A modern hygge style colour scheme uses a cosy colour palette that extends into the colour grading of the images, creating harmony throughout the supplied imagery and overall design.
Despite the small size limiting the grid prospects, the dual columns and thoughtful type-setting provide improved legibility for the reader, alongside flourishes that break up visual fatigue throughout the 32 pages.
Here's to another 60 years of heritage preservation in Guernsey.
