Our very own running guru, Nat Whitty, who modestly bypasses questions about her Island record running times, has a very meaningful new mission.
After a life changing loss, Nat’s resilience is manifesting in the form of raising funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK, all in memory of her amazing mum, Denise Mullen.
More than half of the people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months.
While Denise and her family explored every avenue to extend her time beyond the statistics, she passed away in August 2022, 10 months after diagnosis.
Nat has been a leader and role model amidst her adversity, turning grief into good that may well serve any one of us and our loved ones in the future.
Be a part of her great cause as she runs every day in November for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month, and donate what you can here.
