As hopefully you've seen on our website and at Liberty Wharf, Jersey and The Inner Market St in Guernsey the 'Community Artworks - Form' exhibition has been well under way.
Each exhibition represents works from the youth and students of Guernsey and Jersey. We were commissioned by Deutsche Bank, Channel Islands to think of a CSR campaign that really involved and touched the community.
Our idea of an art competition really took off with Deutsche Bank supporting the competition with outstanding prizes - artwork in the Saatchi gallery for the under 18s winner and a week in Berlin with a placement at the Deutsche Guggenheim. Anyhow, this has been a very fulfilling project to work on with 2 amazing exhibitions in both islands. Visitor numbers have been very high and no wonder when you see the calibre of work the students produced.
The brand event graphics really challenged the Deutsche Bank brand guidelines but always remained within. It's great to work within such tight rules but even better to push them to their limits without breaking them. Here are some images and a couple of short films that capture the essence of the project.
Enjoy and well done to all entrants, Jersey and Guernsey.
