As a huge fan of Spike Jonze, FKA Twigs & Anderson Paak, Apple's short film for its new HomePod titled "Welcome Home" had me at "Hey Siri". Aside from suggesting that a good subwoofer can cure one's melancholic dissatisfaction for public transport and a shoebox city apartment, Jonze captures a charming and surreal performance by Twigs set to Paak's "Til It's Over" in signature erraticism. Ryan Heffington's spellbinding choreography is nearly enough to convince me to put my Sonos collection on Guernsey eBuy and splash out £320 for Apple's new smart speaker... Nearly.
